Director Ambre Perry has a personal connection to Wishlist’s work.
"Wishlist have been very supportive to my husband and family after his accident," she says.
"They also donated an electric wheelchair to the rehab that he has been using, which has been so helpful in giving him independence.
"When we learned about this event, it felt like the perfect opportunity to give back.
"Chris will be participating in the 5K in his electric chair, which was provided by Wishlist. Additionally, my mum and business partner Lou recently went through breast cancer, making this event especially significant for us."
Despite significant progress in Chris' recovery, the journey remains long and challenging.
"It’s been very hard on me and the kids," Ambre shares.
"Chris has been in the hospital since mid-June, and we expect him to return home by the end of October once our house is prepared for his arrival."
Ambre will run the 5K alongside Chris, with her team at PerryCooper Property and friends also joining the event.

The Wishlist K's 4 Cancer event aims to raise funds for two important pieces of breast surgery equipment at Nambour Hospital - the Sentimag and Faxitron machines.
These advanced devices will replace the often painful “hook and wire” method with a tiny magnetic seed, offering patients improved outcomes through less tissue removal, faster recovery, and fewer surgeries.
