Prestige Inhome Care

VISION CIRCLE

Prestige inhome care logo

Wishlist and Prestige Inhome Care partner to support patients leaving hospital, ensuring safe recovery and comfort in their own home.

While recovery may seem like the ultimate goal, for long-term hospital patients, true success is measured by the moment they return home.

A new partnership between Wishlist and Prestige Inhome Care is bringing that moment closer.

This collaboration will provide vital support to patients transitioning from hospital to home, ensuring they continue their recovery in the comfort and familiarity of their own environment.

As the Wishlist Centre offers a “home away from home” for families while their loved ones undergo life-saving treatment, Prestige Inhome Care will now extend that circle of care - supporting patients as they return to their own homes, helping them take steps towards resuming daily life and reconnecting with the people and things that matter most.

For people like Jenny, a stroke survivor who spent three months in hospital, this partnership is a bridge between hospital and home, offering not just care, but dignity, independence, and hope.

“Thankfully and gratefully, I have an amazing team of Prestige carers who have assisted and supported me in my transition back to daily life," Jenny said.

“They provided practical advice, assisted me in finding ways to adapt safely to my physical challenges, transported me here and there, and acted as my personal assistant."

“We are incredibly thrilled to partner with Wishlist in this meaningful way.

At Prestige, we believe that home is where healing truly happens.

This partnership allows us to support more people in making that powerful transition from hospital to home, surrounded by the people and comforts they love.

I am excited about what we can achieve together to make a real difference for families in need on the Sunshine Coast.”

CEO of Wishlist Brendan Hogan, said it’s the perfect alignment of values and mission.

“This partnership is a natural fit. Both Wishlist and Prestige Inhome Care are deeply committed to compassionate, person-centred care," Mr Hogan said.

“Together, we’re not just supporting recovery, we’re restoring lives, families, and futures.”

This partnership marks a significant step forward in patient-centred care on the Sunshine Coast, ensuring that more people can recover where they feel safest - at home.
