You can make treatment for children quicker and easier by helping us purchase a POCUS for the Children’s and Adolescent Unit. This portable ultrasound enables doctors and nurses to diagnose young patients faster, more accurately, and in a non-invasive way without relying on trips to the radiology department. $33,500

Equipment for the Child Continence Service

Children who require specialised allied health continence services have previously been required to travel to Brisbane but thanks to Wishlist funding, physiotherapy is now included within the multidisciplinary team to assist with this service. Help us fund additional equipment and resources to assist young patients and their families. $6,658.

Equipment for Birth

A HiPac chair to improve comfort and pain relief for birthing women needing an epidural. This revolutionary device positioning patients safely and securely during epidural procedures and removes strain and potentially injury to health staff. $9,790.

Creating Calm

With your support, we can fund the installation of wall art in the Sunshine Coast University Hospital birthing suites to create a calming environment for new parents. $11,032.

Childrens Interactive Waiting Area

Improve the experience of our youngest patients who are waiting for a medical appointment. Help us provide an interactive area at outpatient clinics at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. $70,958.

Clown Doctors

Donate to continue the Sunshine Coast Clown Doctors service. Bringing laughter and smiles to sick children at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Clown Rounds each week are invaluable to young patients, caregivers and even health staff. Help continue this $110,800 program.

Calm Fairies

The Calm Fairies helps anxious kids feel safe and calm in hospital. Ongoing funding is needed at $13,000 per year.
