YOUR IMPACT
2025 - 2 Valuable pieces of equipment
Last year’s Wishlist Spring Carnival attendees pledged an incredible $327,905, bringing care close to home with two valuable pieces of equipment.
Thanks to your generosity, a Chromium iX Single-Cell Analysis System has been funded. This world-class technology allows researchers to study cancer one cell at a time, unlocking personalised treatments and improving outcomes for patients.
Your support also helped fund Specialised Nerve Hyperexcitability Testing Equipment, giving local patients access to advanced testing without needing to travel to Sydney. This equipment improves the diagnosis and treatment of nerve and muscle disorders, expanding vital research right here at home.
2024 - Biplane Unit
2023 - Domestic and Family Violence Coordinator
The $230,000 raised funded a dedicated Domestic and Family Violence Coordinator within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).
This crucial role provides survivors with support, guidance, and access to life-changing services. It’s a lifeline when it’s needed most—a bridge to safety and hope.
Your support doesn’t just fund services; it helps break the cycle of violence and empowers survivors to rebuild their lives.
.
2022 - Wishlist Centre
The incredible generosity of 850 attendees in 2022, Wishlist was able to complete Wishlist Centre—an 18-room hospital accommodation facility offering vital wraparound care, located directly across from Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Since opening, Wishlist Centre has welcomed nearly 1,200 guests, providing a warm and supportive “home away from home” during their most vulnerable times. It’s a sanctuary of comfort and compassion, made possible by the unwavering support of our community.
