Twelve hours of good vibes, generosity and lifechanging fundraising. Wishlist Giving Day brings our Sunshine Coast community together to raise funds for even better health care close to home.
Wishlist supports public hospitals in Gympie and the Sunshine Coast, delivering vital medical equipment, affordable accommodation and patient support services.
Wishlist Giving Day is the one day of the year when donations are doubled, thanks to our generous corporate matchers.

Volunteer your staff to make calls on Wishlist Giving Day in our “telethon style” blitz of the region – and see if your business can raise the most funds. It’s great for team building as well.

Wishlist Giving Day is 12-hours of generosity which brings the community together to raise funds to make health experiences even better on the Sunshine Coast and in Gympie.
What makes it different from every other day is that donations are DOUBLED thanks ot our matched donors – so if you only make one donation in the year – make it on Wishlist Giving Day.

How does my donation get doubled?
Donations are doubled thanks to our generous pool of matching donors. Often local businesses here on the Sunshine Coast and Gympie.
For example, if you donate $50, a matching donor will contribute another $50, making your gift worth $100 to support local healthcare.
How will my donation make an impact?
Wishlist is dedicated to supporting even better health care close to home.
Your donation will help Wishlist to buy vital medical equipment, provide affordable accommodation for patients and their families and fund patients support services on the Sunshine Coast and in Gympie.
Can I give before or after the official Wishlist Giving Day?
You can give a donation to Wishlist 365 days a year – but the advantage of Giving Day is your donation will be doubled by our matching donors.
Only donations giving on the day are DOUBLED.
I want to run a fundraiser for Wishlist Giving Day will the amount I raise be doubled?
You can run a fundraiser before Wishlist Giving Day but you must deposit the amount ON Wishlist Giving Day for it to be DOUBLED.
Are my donations tax-deductible and will I receive a receipt?
Yes, donations of $2 or more to Wishlist Giving Day are tax-deductible and you will get a receipt.
Wishlist is endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) under the “Health Promotion Charity” category.
