Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Chief Executive Dr Peter Gillies, CEO of SunCentral - Maroochydore City Centre Amanda Yeates, Sunshine Coast Young Chamber of Commerce executive Miranda McLennan and experienced executive Natasha Read join Wishlist, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise that will undoubtedly elevate the organisation's mission.

Wishlist CEO Lisa Rowe said the new board members were officially appointed this month after being approved by Her Excellency the Governor and will serve on the Board until 2026.

"We are thrilled to welcome Dr Peter Gillies, Amanda Yeates, Miranda McLennan and Natasha Read to our Board of Directors,” Ms Rowe said.

“Their impressive accomplishments and dedication to making a difference align perfectly with Wishlist's mission of supporting the growing health needs of patients and families on the Sunshine Coast and Gympie.

"With their guidance, we look forward to reaching new heights in our efforts to enhance healthcare and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve."

Dr Peter Gillies was appointed as Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Chief Executive in October 2021 and has been a doctor for the past 30 years working in hospitals and general practice roles in South Africa and the United Kingdom. He will contribute invaluable insight to Wishlist's strategic direction.

Miranda McLennan, with her extensive background in business and marketing brings a unique perspective to bolster the charity's initiatives.

Natasha Read, a seasoned professional, enhances the Board's skill set with her proven track record in culture, operations, and strategy, and rounds out the quartet of new Board members.

“These accomplished individuals share Wishlist's commitment to improving healthcare outcomes and have demonstrated a passion for philanthropy throughout their careers,” Ms Rowe says.

Wishlist has supported the growing health needs of patients and families on the Sunshine Coast and Gympie for the past 25 years.
