Hospital foundation Wishlist has revealed powerhouse female trio The Kitty Kats will headline Wishlist’s annual Jazz and Wine Festival next Sunday at The Pavilion.
Running since 2017, this year’s festival receives a facelift as it moves outdoors to The Pavilion at the Gympie Showgrounds featuring live jazz and blues musicians, gourmet food, and award-winning wine on Sunday, August 7.
70s nostalgic band Rufus Jack will take to the stage and join the returning The Kitty Kats, three of Queensland’s most loved performers.
Wishlist Fundraising and Partnerships Manager Lisa Wilson said although we’re less than a fortnight away, there is a chance to purchase general admission tickets for $30 and VIP tickets for $150 to this unmissable event.

“This lifesaving festival is a day people keep returning back to. If you’re looking to treat yourself to an exclusive VIP veranda area, we have an impressive foods package thanks to Michael from Capelli Foods Catering, and a premium drinks selection including Bird & Hand wine, and Heads of Noosa beer,” Ms Wilson said.
“Or bring your own picnic chairs, rugs and nibbles whilst you kick back and enjoy the good vibes of the Gympie backdrop and uplifting music. However, alcohol is not BYO but will be available for purchase on the day at one of our bars manned by the wonderful volunteers from the Rotary Club Gympie. Vodka, rum and gin cocktails from Sunshine & Sons will also be available.

SCHUH Group Director Cos Schuh said he’s seen firsthand the long-lasting positive impact on families and patients Wishlist Jazz and Wine Festival has had in the region.
“We see real value in supporting this event year after year. Knowing that the funds raised from the day are making a real difference to improving hospital accommodation, medical equipment and services available to local families and patients, gives us comfort,” Mr Schuh said.
This year Wishlist are raising vital funds for Wishlist Centre – Australia’s first facility to provide affordable patient accommodation, primary healthcare and complementary therapies under one roof, which will open in November this year.
The need for more affordable accommodation for is great. Currently, three out of four patients who stay in one of Wishlist’s accommodation facilities on the Sunshine Coast are from the Gympie region.
