Doctors told dad-of-two Fred he’d never walk again after a large tumour was removed from his spine.

For the past six months Fred has been confined to a wheelchair, but never gave up on his hope to walk again.

For months, Fred worked six hours a day on regaining his mobility thanks to the Neuro Intensive Rehab program at SCUH and took his first steps in front of a cheering crowd of Rehab staff and Wishlist.,

“They make impossible things possible,” Fred says of the health team.

“I want to say to people like me - never give up. Work hard.”
