Peter Boyce



Peter Boyce was appointed as the Chairman of Wishlist in October 2017, succeeding founding member Mike Kelly. Peter is renowned in the Sunshine Coast community for his tireless dedication to support local causes. With more than 40 years’ experience as a Solicitor, Peter has practised in all areas of litigation and has special interests in criminal law, civil and commercial litigation, retirement village matters, sports law, resumption of land and compensation claims.  Peter provides invaluable advice to the Board as a determined advocate for the needs of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.


John Williams

Deputy Chairman


John is the General Manager at Sunshine Coast Broadcasters Pty Ltd and is responsible for all facets of the broadcasting unit, including content, sales, technical, creative, digital and marketing.

Engaging with a large number of community groups across the Sunshine Coast, John is a wealth of knowledge to assist in boosting the profile of Wishlist as a charitable organisation.

Starting his career in media in 1971, John has headed several successful radio entities, including 4BC Brisbane, 2UW Sydney, Mix Fm Sydney and held a director’s position with the Australian Radio Network.

John is a board member of Wishlist and a member of the Wishlist Marketing Committee.   


Tony Long

Board Member








Tony has a more than 50 years’ experience in urban planning, property development, communications, marketing and Local Government.

He has been involved in the development of many iconic Sunshine Coast properties including the multi-award winning Kawana Waters Master Plan.

Tony brings to the Wishlist board his expertise in strategic planning and project management for the property sector having developed a range of projects (health, food and beverage, industrial, and residential apartments).


Cosmo Schuh

Board Member


Cos graduated from the University of Southern Queensland in 1976 and has worked as a Public Accountant for more than 35 years in the Gympie area. 

He has developed a strong business which he has been able to grow and now supports 27 staff and services the broader Gympie, Central Burnett and Western Qld areas.

Cos has been involved extensively in property development and syndication, financial management, estate planning and strategic management for small to medium business.  He sits on a number of Boards for private and public companies and is a Director of a family Charitable Foundation.

Cos has been a member of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Board since 2013.


Trudy Fitzgerald

Trudy is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with over 23 years of diverse experience in the medical industry.
Having started from the ground roots as a registered nurse her drive and tenaciousness escalated her career path to become a very successful and respected business leader today within the medical industry.

The majority of Trudy’s career has been with a global medical device NASDAQ listed company EVVV (ev3), where she held various senior executive roles such as International Marketing Director and Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing Director.

In 2013 Trudy started Cortex Consulting, a specialised and trusted medical and healthcare consulting company. Drawing from her expertise and industry knowledge, Trudy’s is well placed to provide regular advice to Wishlist’s Board and CEO.

Lorraine Ferguson

Board Member

Chair of Sunshine Coast Hospital & Health Service Board


Sue Sara has extensive experience as a director and in strategic communications, reputation and crisis management, corporate social responsibility and fundraising in Australia and internationally. She has held senior executive roles in market leading organisations in many industries including IT, resources and not-for-profit (NFP).

She has been a director of NFP organisations and on industry advisory boards for over 10 years. Sue is a Graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). She is also currently a Director of the Sunshine Coast Arts Foundation www.scartsfoundation.com .





Dr Lorraine Ferguson AM is a registered nurse, a respected educator, an experienced executive and Board member and author of a number of published works on healthcare reform, clinical management and nursing.

She was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2002 for service to critical care nursing, particularly in clinical, management and education disciplines, and to professional nursing organisations.

Lorraine has also served as a member of nursing executive teams, and as a member and chair of local, state and national committees including quality, casemix, clinical costing, healthcare funding, research ethics and curriculum development.


Charmaine Harris

Board Member



Charmaine is a qualified Australian lawyer and has worked in the public sector at a State and National level and as a solicitor in private practice.

She has led the 2009 Black Saturday Victorian Bushfire Appel Fund and the 2019-2020 Victorian Bushfire Appeal efforts. Charmaine brings with her government and charitable law expertise and has delivered large, strategic projects.

Charmaine brings many years’ experience in strategic policy development and the delivery of public and community housing. She has also worked closely with family violence networks, Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations, disability services, the NDIA and, out–of-home-care providers and local and state government departments.



Michelle Christoe

Board Member



Michelle Christoe has an MBA (Marketing Mgr) and is an accomplished marketing and business professional, having launched and managed her own businesses in Australia and abroad.  Michelle has represented Australian industry on Not-for-Profit Boards for the past twenty years. 

Michelle founded and manages Food Focus Australia, an event management and hospitality business with strong Sustainability Principles and connections within the Queensland community including a Festival based entertainment venue, NightQuarter made of recycled materials delivering workshops, fundraisers, functions, music events and activations across 5 stages and precincts.



Graham Wilkinson

Board Member


As the Facility Manager, Nambour Hospital, Graham has over 40 years’ experience working with Queensland Health and brings his high level of knowledge and experience with Nursing and Midwifery Services and Health Management. He has a diverse résumé of appointments in numerous clinical and management positions. Graham's experience as Adjunct Professor of University of the Sunshine Coast and previous Adjunct Associate Professor appointments at the Faculty of Nursing and Health at Griffith University and University of Queensland has helped Wishlist progress its support for education, training and research.  Graham is a member of the Project and Funding Management Committee and will be nominated for another term as member.


Dr. Heather Parker

Board Member



Dr Heather Parker has been a GP for 40 years. Originally a Speech Therapist (UQ 1965), in Canada she attained a BA degree in Psychology and an MD from the University of Manitoba. She served on the St. Vital School Board. Returning to Australia in 1984 she worked with DVA, attained a private pilot’s license, a Fellowship with RACGP and entered General Practice. She served on the South Qld Regional Parole Board and on the committee of the Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine. She flew herself out west to do Women’s Health Clinics and to Mt Isa to support RFDS. She participated in the Great Hawaiian Air Race for the Make a Wish foundation.

In 2006 she was awarded an OAM for “services to medicine and to aviation” and the Nancy-bird award from AWPA for “the most noteworthy contribution to aviation by a woman of Australasia.”
