Wishlist has three accommodation facilities close to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH), Caloundra Hospital and Nambour Hospital. These include a two-bedroom apartment within walking distance to SCUH, a six-bedroom 'home away from home' on Affinity Place, Birtinya (due to open April 2020), and Reed House near Nambour Hospital.
Reed House is a 20-unit apartment building located next to Nambour Hospital. All guests at Reed House can access a free shuttle service to and from the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. This facility is available to patients, carers and immediate family members whilst their loved one is undergoing treatment at Nambour, Selangor, Caloundra and the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Wishlist House - also known as The House The Coast Built, is a six-bedroom purpose-built house within walking distance to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. This two-storey 'home away from home' is perfect for families. Each bedroom has its own ensuite, has a full-sized kitchen downstairs and kitchenette upstairs, a play room, alfresco area and balcony. This home is also wheelchair-friendly. OPENING LATE-APRIL 2020.

How can I book?
All bookings are made through Reed House on (07) 5441 1049 or email email@example.com. This phone line is manned 24/7. Our friendly caretakers are able to welcome guests in emergency sitations out-of-hours.
Who can access this service?
Reed House provides a home away from home for both rural and remote Queenslanders, as well as locals who need to access health services in the Sunshine Coast area.
How do I access the Patient Travel Subsidy?
If you live locally and wish to access the service, you will need to obtain a referral from your clinician once you have confirmation of the treatment and where it will be conducted.
If you live outside of the Sunshine Coast area and you have been referred by a clinician to a specialist medical service that is not available at your local public hospital or health facility, you may be eligible for a subsidy. To find out more, click here.
